COUNTDOWN TO NOMINATIONS

Before nominations I helped design a bunch of pages based on our Oscar.com template. During this time I designed the following callouts to count down to nominations. There was a dynamicly displayed text overlay with call to action over each slide.

NOMINATIONS NIGHT

The night before nominations all the designers and producers go to The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills. They then quickly take our cellphones and shut off our internet as they hand us the list of the nominees. We then spend the next 11 hours creating callouts featuring the nominees, updating ballots, preparing the My Pics page and eating free sandwitches and pizza. You also drink at least one 5 Hour Energy drink.
